Inspect for a poor battery condition. Refer to Battery Inspection/Test in Engine Electrical.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Visually inspect for a stuck or intermittent sticking switch on the control head (Trim plate fit).

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

1. Start the engine.
2. Verify all the instrument panel outlets are open.
3. Operate the system. Refer to:

•	Air Conditioning (A/C) System Description

•	Control Assembly Description

•	Operating Modes

Does the system operate properly?

System OK

Go to Symptoms

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
