Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 428029  Size: SH
  1. Remove the seat adjuster track trim cover. Refer to Power Seat Riser Trim Cover Replacement in Seats.
  2. Note the seat buckle wire routing for installation.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector on the drivers buckle.
  4. Remove the fastener.
  5. Remove the buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the buckle assembly.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fastener.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 26 N·m (19 lb ft).

  5. Route the wire as noted in the removal procedure.
  6. Connect the electrical connector to the drivers seat.
  7. Install the seat adjuster track trim cover. Refer to Power Seat Riser Trim Cover Replacement in Seats.
