Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Radio/Audio System .

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Turn ON the headlamps.
3. Turn ON the radio.
4. Adjust the dim control from HI to LO.

Does the radio display become bright then dim?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Important:: Use the scan tool in order to clear radio theft information.

Replace the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
