Removal Procedure
- Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Determine the antenna extension cable used in the vehicle.
- Remove the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the upper instrument panel trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable (1) from the radio cavity by sliding the cable connection upwards out of the retainer (2).
- Remove the cable clip (3) from the ductwork.
- Remove the remaining cable clips (1) from the instrument panel support.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable connector (2).
- Remove the antenna extension cable from the vehicle.
Important: Two different cable extensions are used on this vehicle which are not interchangeable. The first design uses a cable that is fixed in the radio cavity. The second design uses a cable that is manually inserted into the radio. The antenna extension cable selected must match the radio design in the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
- Connect the coaxial cable connector (2).
- Install the cable clips (1) to the instrument panel support.
- If a manually inserted cable was used, install the cable to the radio and go to step 5.
- Install the cable clip (3) to the ductwork.
- Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Install the upper instrument panel trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
Insert the cable connector (1) into the retainer (2) in the radio cavity.
