Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position.
3. Observe the high beam indicator on the instrument cluster.

Does the indicator illuminate after the bulb check?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Do the high beam headlamps illuminate?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting Systems

Go to Step 4

1. Install a scan tool.
2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
3. Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position.
4. With a scan tool, observe the High Beam Lamp parameter in the Instrument Panel Cluster data list.

Does the scan tool display Off?

Go to Step 6

Replace the IPC. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 7

Replace the DIM. Refer Dash Integration Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 7

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
