Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn ON the suspect turn signal.
  3. Observe the turn signal lamp indicator on the head up display (HUD).

Does the turn signal lamp indicator on the HUD operate properly?

Does the instrument cluster turn signal lamp indicator operate properly?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the HUD module.
  3. Test the suspect turn signal indicator control circuit to the HUD module for high resistance or an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the HUD module. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the HUD module. Refer to Head Up Display Module Replacement .
