Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Install a scan tool.
3. With a scan tool, observe the seat belt parameter in the SIR data list.

When the seat belt is disconnected does the scan tool indicate that the seat belt switch is still Off?

Replace the drivers seat belt buckle. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement in Seat Belts.

Replace the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
