The driver mirror vertical position sensor is a potentiometer. The driver door module (DDM) determines the vertical position of the mirror based on the voltage from the sensor.
The DDM must be powered up.
The driver mirror vertical position sensor is above 4.75 V for 2 seconds in the requested position.
Memory movements on this axis are disabled. Manual movements are not disabled.
The sensor will be deactivated and the DDM will ignore the signal. The DDM will respond to inputs from other non failed sensors.
When the DDM no longer senses the failure during the self test.
