Condition

Some customers may comment that the outer lip of the side door window weatherstrip gets trapped between the door glass edge and the cavity of the weatherstrip and tucks under when the window glass is raised.


(1)	Collapsed Weatherstrip Cavity and Winked/Tucked Outer Lip
(2)	Correct positioning of Window Weatherstrip Outer Lip to Side Door Glass

Cause

This condition may be due to the weatherstrip cavity collapsing (1) and not returning to it's original shape (2).

Correction

Install a 5 mm (0.20 in) diameter silicone tube into the cavity of the weatherstrip on all four doors.

Refer to the repair kit, P/N 12482650, for parts and installation procedures.
