Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel (3). Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  2. Object Number: 430293  Size: SH
  3. Remove the high mounted stop lamp wiring (4) from the rear shelf panel (3).
  4. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the high mounted stop lamp (2) to the rear shelf trim panel.
  5. Remove the high mount stop lamp (2) from the rear shelf trim panel (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 430293  Size: SH
  1. Install the high mount stop lamp (2) to the rear shelf trim panel (3).
  2. Install the high mounted stop lamp wiring (4) to the rear shelf panel (3).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the fasteners that secure the high mount stop lamp (2) to the rear shelf trim panel (3).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the rear shelf trim panel (3). Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
