Maintenance Schedule - Long Trip/Highway without UJ2

The services shown in this schedule up to 166 000 km (100,000 mi) should be performed after 166 000 km (100,000 mi) at the same intervals. The services shown at 240 000 km (150,000 mi) should be performed at the same interval after 240 000 km (150,000 mi).

       - Uses such as found in taxi, police or delivery service.
    • If you haven`t used the vehicle under severe service conditions listed previously and, therefore, haven`t changed the automatic transaxle fluid, change both the fluid and filter.

240 000 km (150,000 miles)

Drain, flush and refill the cooling system (or every 60 months since the last cooling system service, whichever occurs first). For information on the proper coolant to use, refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations . Inspect hoses, clean radiator, condenser, pressure cap and neck. If there is a loss of coolant, Refer to Loss of Coolant in Engine Cooling.

Maintenance Schedule - Long Trip/Highway w/UJ2

The services shown in this schedule up to 166 000 km (100,000 mi) should be performed after 166 000 km (100,000 mi) at the same intervals. The services shown at 240 000 km (150,000 mi) should be performed at the same interval after 240 000 km (150,000 mi).

Engine Oil Scheduled Maintenance

Change engine oil and filter as indicated by the GM Oil Life System™ ( or every 12  months, whichever occurs first). Reset the system. The system will show you when to change the oil - usually between 5 000 km (3,000 miles) and 12 500 km (7,500 miles) since the last oil change. Under severe conditions, the CHANGE OIL SOON message may be displayed before 5 000 km (3,000 miles).

Never drive the vehicle more than 16 000 km (10,000 miles) or 12 months without an oil and filter change.

The system will not detect dust in the oil. If the vehicle is driven in a dusty area, be sure to change the oil and filter every 5 000 km (3,000 miles) or sooner if the CHANGE OIL SOON message is displayed. Reset the Oil Life System when the oil and filter have been changed. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting .
