Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left IP trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    2. Object Number: 428497 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2, 3).

    3. Object Number: 660090 Size: SH
  3. Remove the headlamp switch from the left IP trim plate.
    4. 3.1. Remove the fastener (1).
    3.2. Tilt the headlamp switch (2) to remove.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 660090 Size: SH
  1. Install the headlamp switch (2) to the IP trim plate.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the fastener (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (2, 3).
  4. Install the IP trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
