Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 428502 Size: SH
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the left instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Remove the left windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Pull the IP outer trim panel outward in order to remove.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 428502 Size: SH
  1. Align the instrument panel (IP) outer trim panel retainers to the openings in the IP.
  2. Push the IP outer trim panel into the IP, ensuring all the retainers engage.
  3. Install the left windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the left IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side .
  5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
