This voice message is intended for Buick dealers that participate in the General Motors voice messaging system. A driver or passenger may experience a popping noise when rotating the sunvisor on a 2003 Buick LeSabre. This noise may be coming from the mounting plate that is welded to the front roof support rail. The mounting plate is located on the upper or roof side of the roof rail. It is possible that the mounting plate may have a poor weld, which could result in a popping noise. To correct this condition it is necessary to lower the headliner, drill a hole into the sun visor mounting plate and install a pop rivet.
