Preliminary Procedure

    Important: Drain only the fluid from the radiator surge tank.

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .

Radiator Outlet Hose

Tip
Using J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers position the radiator outlet hose clamps aside and remove the hose from the radiator and engine.
