Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. Remove the front and rear carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement and Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
3. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

Tip
Pull outward to disengage the retainer clips.
