The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
2006 Buick Lucerne with a concern of the power door locks inoperative.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Inspect the 20A rear Door Lock (REAR DR LCK) fuse. If the fuse is blown, inspect circuit 295 (grey wire) for chaffing and a short to ground under the left rear door sill plate.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
