Notice: Failure to follow the procedures below when replacing a side door trim panel will result in damage to the armrest clip.

In order to prevent damage to the armrest clip when replacing a front or rear side door trim panel, Step 2 of the procedures below must be followed.

1	Front Side Door Inside Handle Bezel Cover
2	Front Side Door Inside Handle Screw Tighten 3 N·m (25 lb in)
3	Front Side Door Trim Panel Tip Use a J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover to aid in the removal of the side door trim panel. After releasing all the retainers along the outer perimeter of the door trim panel, hold the panel away from the door and lift up on the panel to disengage the 2 clips that anchor the armrest into the door sheet metal. Disconnect the inside door handle linkage. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

2	Rear Side Door Inside Handle Screw Tighten 3 N·m (25 lb in)
3	Rear Side Door Trim Panel Tip Use a J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover to aid in the removal of the side door trim panel.
