The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
A customer may comment about one or more of the following concerns. These concerns may be intermittent:
• | The engine will not crank over / start. |
• | Instrument Panel Cluster gauges are inoperative. |
• | SERVICE STABILITRAK, SERVICE SUSPENSION SYS, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL may be displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC). |

Inspect the body wire harness for chafing on or near the parking brake pedal assembly. Repair the wiring as necessary.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
