Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1671970 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear compartment liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the fuel sender access hole cover bolts.
  3. Remove the fuel sender access hole cover.

    4. Object Number: 1671971 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the fuel level sensor wiring harness electrical connector (1) fuel tank pressure sensor.
  5. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1671971 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor.
  2. Connect the fuel level sensor wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the fuel tank pressure sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1671970 Size: SH
  3. place the fuel sender access hole cover into position.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the fuel sender access hole cover bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the rear compartment liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
