Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove either the LF or RF wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
3. Disconnect the fog lamp bulb socket electrical connector.

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw

Tip
Remove the adjuster screw from the locking ring and lamp assembly.

Front Fog Lamp Screw (Qty: 2)

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Fog Lamp Assembly

Procedure

1. Using thumb pressure on the locking ring, press and release the front bumper fascia tabs from the locking ring.
2. Remove and discard the locking ring.
3. Upon assembly of the new fog lamp assembly, align the bottom slot on the fog lamp with the lower center tab on the front bumper fascia.
4. Hold on the outer bumper fascia grille assembly and press firmly inward, the fog lamp assembly to the lower bumper fascia tabs.
5. Audible clicks can be heard when the fog lamp is secure to the front bumper fascia.
6. Aim the fog lamps after installation. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.

Front Fog Lamp Bulb

Caution: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove from the lamp assembly, transfer as needed.
