Discharge Hose Replacement L26

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement
  4. Important: Seal the A/C system ports after the hose is removed in order to keep A/C system from being contaminated.

  5. Disconnect the A/C compressor and condenser hose electrical connector.

Tighten
16 N·m (12 lb ft)

Sealing Washer

Tip
Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement

Tighten
16 N·m (12 lb ft)

Tip
Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement

Tip
Leak test the fittings using J 39400-A
