The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Check Engine Light on, has a rough idle, or will not start. The PCM may store one or more of the following DTC: P0300, P0336, P0335, P0340, P0341.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Inspect the Crankshaft Sensor wire harness for contact with the A/C Compressor pulley. Repair and reroute wiring as necessary.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
