Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose Replacement LZ9/LGD
Removal Procedure
- Install drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
- Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
- Loosen the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1) and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) from the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
- Loosen the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1) and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) from the power steering return hose.
- Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose from any retainers and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose to the vehicle.
- Connect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) to the power steering return hose and release the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1)
- Connect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir and release the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1)
- Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to
