Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the left hand floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side.
  3. Disconnect the left hand air temperature actuator electrical connector.

Mode Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.0 N·m (9 lb in)
