Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the drivers seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement.
2. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer electrical connector.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Yaw Rate Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer

Procedure

1. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw sensor.
2. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
