Preliminary Procedure Recover the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement Note: Seal the A/C system ports after the hose is removed in order to keep A/C system from being contaminated. Disconnect the air conditioning (A/C) refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
1	Discharge Hose Retaining Bolt Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten Tighten the bolt to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).
2	Sealing Washer Procedure Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
3	Discharge Hose Retaining Nut Tighten Tighten the bolt to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).
4	Sealing Washer Procedure Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
5	Discharge Hose Procedure Leak test the fittings using J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector Special Tools J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

1	A/C Compressor And Condenser Hose Retaining Nut Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 16 N·m (12 lb ft)
2	Sealing Washer Procedure Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
3	A/C Compressor And Condenser Hose Retaining Nut Tighten 16 N·m (12 lb ft)
4	Sealing Washer Procedure Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
5	A/C Compressor And Condenser Hose Procedure Leak test the fittings using J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector Special Tools J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
