REAR BRAKE SHOES FREEZE TO DRUMS-NEW PART NO. RELEASED

SUBJECT: REAR BRAKES SHOES TEMPORARILY FREEZE TO DRUMS (NEW PART NUMBER FOR SHOES)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991-92 "C AND H" MODELS

CONDITION:

--------- Some 1991-92 C and H models may experience the following condition. When the rear brake shoes are damp and the ambient temperature 0 Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) or lower, the shoes may temporarily freeze to the brake drum. This normally occurs after the vehicle has gone through an automatic car wash or heavy slush and then is parked for some time.

CORRECTION:

---------- If a customer should comment on the above condition, replace both left and right brake shoes with the listed part numbers. The shoes have a lower metallic content and will more easily break loose from the brake drum.
