1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

   Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
3. Remove the right cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan .



4. Remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
5. Remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator.



6. Remove the radiator shroud from the radiator.



7. Disconnect the transaxle oil cooler lines from the radiator.



8. Remove the overflow tube from the radiator.



9. Remove the coolant level sensor.
10. Remove the hood latch support from the upper tie bar.



11. Remove the upper radiator seal.
12. Disconnect the A/C condenser from the radiator.



13. Remove the upper radiator mounting brackets.
14. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.

1. Install the radiator to the vehicle. Place the bottom of the radiator in the lower mounting pads.
2. Install the upper radiator mounting brackets.

Tighten
Tighten the radiator mounting brackets 10 N·m (89 lb in).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

3. Connect the A/C condenerser to the radiator.



4. Install the upper radiator seal.
5. Install the hood latch to the upper tie bar.



6. Install the coolant level sensor.



7. Install the overflow tube to the radiator.



8. Connect the transaxle oil cooler lines to the radiator side tanks.

Tighten
Tighten the transaxle oil cooler line fittings to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).




9. Install the radiator shroud to the radiator.



10. Install the upper radiator hose to the radiator.
11. Install the lower radiator hose to the radiator.
12. Install the right cooling fan. Refer to Electric Cooling Fan .
13. Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
14. Connect the negative battery cable.

Tighten
Tighten the negative battery cable bolt to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

15. Start the engine. Check for coolant leaks.
