J 37097-A Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

   Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .



3. Remove the radiator hose clamps from the radiator.
4. Remove the raditor hose from the engine.



5. Remove the radiator hose clamps from the engine.
6. Remove the radiator hose from the engine.

Tools Required

J 37097-A Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

1. Install the radiator hose to the engine.
2. Install the radiator hose clamps to the engine.



3. Install the radiator hose to the radiator.
4. Install the raditor hose to the engine.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
6. Start the engine and checks for leaks.
