Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to General Information.

  2. Object Number: 69922  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front air deflector.

  4. Object Number: 165579  Size: SH
  5. Remove the oil cooler line retainer from radiator.

  6. Object Number: 165582  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the radiator.

  8. Object Number: 165580  Size: SH
  9. Remove the oil cooler line retainer from the transaxle.

  10. Object Number: 165583  Size: SH
  11. Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the transaxle.
  12. Remove the oil cooler lines from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil cooler lines to the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 165583  Size: SH
  3. Connect the oil cooler lines to the transaxle.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the engine oil cooler line to 20 N·m(15 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the oil cooler line retainer to the transaxle.

  6. Object Number: 165582  Size: SH
  7. Install the oil cooler lines to the radiator.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the oil cooler line to 20 N·m(15 lb ft).

  9. Install the oil cooler line retainer to the radiator.

  10. Object Number: 69922  Size: SH
  11. Install the front air deflector.
  12. Lower vehicle.
  13. Check the engine oil level.
