Removal Procedure
- Raise and support vehicle. Refer to General Information.
- Remove the front air deflector.
- Remove the oil cooler line retainer from radiator.
- Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the radiator.
- Remove the oil cooler line retainer from the transaxle.
- Disconnect the oil cooler lines from the transaxle.
- Remove the oil cooler lines from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
- Connect the oil cooler lines to the transaxle.
- Install the oil cooler line retainer to the transaxle.
- Install the oil cooler lines to the radiator.
- Install the oil cooler line retainer to the radiator.
- Install the front air deflector.
- Lower vehicle.
- Check the engine oil level.
Tighten
Tighten the engine oil cooler line to 20 N·m(15 lb ft).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the oil cooler line to 20 N·m(15 lb ft).
