1. Engine running.

Connect a scan tool and monitor the system voltage.

Is the voltage greater than the specified value?

10.6 Volts

Go to Step 2

1. Turn key to the LOCK position.

Disconnect the PCM connector C2.

Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Does the volt indicator or check gauges message with engine telltale sill on.

Perform the generator function test.
