Door Control Module Replacement Rear

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Object Number: 420433  Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the rear door module (1).
  5. Remove the fasteners retaining the junction block to the rear floor.
  6. Set junction block aside.

  7. Remove the fastener retaining the rear door module (1).
  8. Remove the module (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 420433  Size: SH
  1. Install the module (1).
  2. Install the junction block into position.
  3. Install the fasteners.

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the module (1).
  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
