Did you perform the Power Sunroof System Check ?

Go to Power Sunroof System Check

1. Close the sunroof. Use the following method if necessary:

1.1.	Partially lower the headliner.

1.2.	Locate the slot in the track transmission.

1.3.	Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, apply upward pressure in order to release the clutch and manually turn the transmission.

2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
3. Disconnect the sunroof control module connectors C1 and C2.
4. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) set to ohms scale across connector C2 terminals 1 and 8.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 6

1. Connect a DMM set to ohms scale across connector C2 terminals 5 and 7.
2. Push the sunroof switch up, then down.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value when the switch is pressed up and when the switch is pressed down?

5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the sunroof control module.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the sunroof switch. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the sunroof actuator. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

--

1. Ensure that any of the components removed during diagnosis are installed in place.
2. Ensure that all of the connectors are connected.
3. Repeat the system check. Refer to Power Sunroof System Check .

Is the system check complete?

--

System OK
