Did you perform the Backup Lights System Check?

  1. Disconnect the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the RFA connector cavity B3 (DK GRN) to ground.

Do the backup lamps turn on?

  1. Disconnect the IP fuse block connector C3.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from battery positive voltage (B+) to the IP fuse block connector C3 cavity B2 (LT GRN).

Do the backup lamps turn on?

Repair the open in CKT 24 (LT GRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the RFA module. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement in Keyless Entry.

Test CKT 1655 (DK GRN) between the IP fuse block and the RFA for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is there an open in CKT 1655?

Replace the PERIM LP relay in the IP fuse block.

Is the repair complete?
