  1. Disconnect the IP compartment lamp switch connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the IP compartment lamp switch connector cavity A (DK BLU/BLK) to ground.

Does the IP compartment lamp turn on?

Test CKT 148 (DK BLU/BLK) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 148 OK?

Test CKT 1732 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the IP compartment lamp for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 1732 OK?

Replace the IP compartment lamp. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Lamp Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Test CKT 450 (BLK) between the IP compartment lamp switch and G201 for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 450 OK?

Replace the IP compartment lamp switch. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Lamp Switch Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
