Did you perform the Interior Lights System Check?

  1. Disconnect the LH front door lock actuator connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the appropriate door lock actuator connector cavity to ground:
  3. • LH front: cavity A (TAN)
    • LH rear: cavity A (DK BLU/WHT)
    • RH front: cavity D (LT GRN)
    • RH rear: cavity D (YEL/BLK)

Do the interior lamps turn on?

Go to Step 5

Test the appropriate circuit for an open:

    • LH front: CKT 126 (TAN)
    • LH rear: CKT 1179 (DK BLU/WHT)
    • RH front: CKT 1177 (LT GRN)
    • RH rear: CKT 1181 (YEL/BLK)

Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit OK?

--

Go to Step 4

Replace the appropriate door module. Refer to Front Door Module Replacement or Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Test the appropriate circuit for an open:

    • LH front: CKT 1183 (YEL/BLK)
    • LH rear: CKT 1180 (TAN)
    • RH front: CKT 1178 (WHT/BLK)
    • RH rear: CKT 1182 (RED)

Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit OK?

Go to Step 6

Replace the appropriate door lock actuator. Refer to Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Doors.

Is the repair complete?
