Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 247334  Size: SH

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the programmer.
  5. Remove the retaining tabs from the programmer.

  7. Remove the programmer (1).

Installation Procedure

Important: After the programmer is replaced, recalibrate the actuators for proper travel. Cycle the ignition ON for 3 minutes to recalibrate the programmer and the actuators for proper travel.

  1. Install the programmer (1) into the retainer on the bracket (2).

  2. Object Number: 247334  Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the programmer.
  4. Install the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console
  5. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
