The battery voltage is supplied to the SBM at connector C1 terminal C9.
The SBM determines if the voltage is within a valid operating range.
DTC B1982 sets when the battery voltage is above 15.5 volts.
• | DTC B1982 stores in the SBM memory. |
• | The SBM will not respond to any manual or memory inputs when the voltage is greater than 15.5 volts. |
• | No driver warning message displays for this DTC. |
DTC B1982 clears when the battery voltage is above 15.0 volts.
• | The DTC disables the setting of most other SBM DTCs. |
• | DTC B1982 may set if the vehicle is placed on a battery charger set on boost or fast charge. |
