Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  3. Measure voltage from terminal B3 to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Check CSTR/SBM fuse and CKT 840 for an open.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a DMM between terminal B3 to terminal A12.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair CKT 350 for an open.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Connect a DMM between terminal A11 and terminal A12.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

  1. Inspect HVAC CKT 341 for an open.
  2. Repair as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a DMM between terminal B2 and terminal A12.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 9

  1. Inspect PCM/CRU (rear fuse block) CKT 1020 (PNK) for an open.
  2. Repair as necessary

Is the repair complete?

Connect a DMM between terminal A7 and terminal A12.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 12

Go to Step 11

Inspect SBM/LCM (underhood fuse block) CKT 39 (PNK) for an open. If you see one, then repair it.

Is the repair complete?
