If the PASS-Key® III module measures and invalid transponder value for 30 consecutive seconds, the PASS-Key® III module sends a message to the RFA module in order to illuminate the SECURITY indicator until the PASS-Key® III module determines that the problem is corrected. The PASS-Key® III module allows the vehicle to start during this condition.
If the PASS-Key® III module detects a problem, the SECURITY indicator illuminates for the first 30 seconds of each ignition cycle until the condition is corrected.
In order to control the SECURITY indicator, the PASS-Key® III module sends a message to the RFA module via the class 2 serial data line. The RFA module illuminates the SECURITY indicator by grounding terminal B5 (CKT 264, DK GRN)
