Removal Procedure
Important: If using a bladed tool, protect the surrounding surfaces. Do not damage
the paint.
- Use a braided wire or a thin bladed tool inserted between the molding
and the sheet metal in order to split the foam tape.

in order to remove the old adhesive from the panel and the molding (if reusing).
Use 3M Scotch-Brite Adhesive Removal Discs on the body panels.
Installation Procedure
- If reusing the molding,
apply new adhesive tape to the molding.
Remove the backing from the adhesive tape.

masking tape in order to aid alignment once the adhesive liner is removed.
Important: Wear clean gloves or use a clean towel while performing this step.
- Align the molding.
- Press the molding to the fender.
Assure proper wetout of the adhesive by applying heavy hand pressure
against the molding at the upper and the lower tape locations. Rub along the
entire length of the molding.
