Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 259084  Size: MH
  1. Remove the door handle bezel (3).
  2. Remove the armrest cover plate (5).
  3. Remove the 2 fasteners (4) from the armrest.
  4. Remove the courtesy lamp assembly (2).
  5. Remove the fastener from behind the lamp assembly.
  6. Remove the power window switch trim plate. Refer to Cigarette Lighter and Side Window Switch Replacement .
  7. Lift up on the trim panel in order to disengage the hooks on the backside of the panel (1).
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  9. Remove the trim panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Partially install the trim panel.

  2. Object Number: 259084  Size: MH
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the door trim panel by engaging the hooks on the backside of the panel (1).
  5. Ensure the door trim panel is fully seated prior to fastener installation.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the fastener behind the lamp assembly.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 0.6N·m  (5 lb in).

  9. Install the courtesy lamp assembly (2).
  10. Install the 2 fasteners (4) in the armrest.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the two fasteners to 0.6 N·m (5 lb in).

  12. Install the armrest cover plate (5).
  13. Install the door handle bezel (3).
  14. Install the power window switch plate. Refer to Cigarette Lighter and Side Window Switch Replacement .
