For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Release the 2 tabs (7) in order to remove the lens (9).
- Release the 2 tabs (4) at the front and the one tab at the rear with a flat thin-bladed tool in order to remove the cover (1).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Release the 2 tabs (8) in order to remove the reflector assembly (6).
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the lamp switches (5).
- Remove the 2 fasteners from the front of the assembly.
- Release the 2 tabs from the front of the assembly.
- Reach through the opening. Release the 2 tabs from the rear of the assembly.
- Lower the overhead compartment assembly.
- Remove the switches from the assembly (if servicing).
- Remove the overhead assembly (3).
Pull the cover down and rearward in order to remove the cover.
Important: Do not let the overhead compartment assembly hang by the wiring.
Installation Procedure
- Install the switches to the assembly.
- Snap the assembly (3) into place.
- Install the 2 fasteners.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the lamp switches (5).
- Snap the reflector (6) assembly into place.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the switches in the cover (1).
- Install the cover.
- Install the lens (9).
- Ensure the overhead assembly is secured to the roof assembly.
