Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

Does the volt indicator illuminate for five seconds during bulb check?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Install a scan tool
2. Start the engine.
3. With a scan tool, observe the Volt Lamp parameter in the Instrument Panel Cluster data list.

Is the volt lamp commanded On?

Go to Step 4

System OK

Inspect for a faulty volt indicator bulb. Refer to Instrument Cluster Bulb Replacement . Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 5

Replace the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
