- Install the sensor (1)
into the duct.
- Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (1).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the right
side IP duct and screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N·m (12 lb in).
- Reposition the lower IP trim panel.
- Install the fasteners (1) onto the upper edge of the right side
lower IP assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the fastener (1)
on to the upper edge of the right lower IP assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the fasteners (2) on to the lower edge of the right
lower IP assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the right IP vent trim plate. Refer to

- Install the right sound insulator. Refer to
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side

- Install the right IP end cap. Refer to
Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Right Side
in Instrument Panel, Gauges and
Console.
