Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Do the high beam headlamps operate properly?

Go to Step 3

Go to Headlamps Inoperative - High Beams

1. Connect a test lamp from battery positive voltage (B+) to the flash to pass input circuit at the lighting control module (LCM).
2. Operate the flash to pass switch.

Does the test lamp turn ON and OFF with the flash to pass switch?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 4

1. Connect a test lamp from battery positive voltage (B+) to the flash to pass input circuit at the flash to pass switch .
2. Operate the flash to pass switch.

Does the test lamp turn ON and OFF with the flash to pass switch?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair open or high resistance in the flash to pass input circuit Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 10

Inspect for poor connections at the flash to pass switch connector. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 7

Replace the flash to pass switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 10

Inspect for poor connections at the LCM connector. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 9

Replace the LCM. Refer to Lamp Control Module Replacement .

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 10
