Did you perform the Keyless Entry Diagnostic System Check?

Does the keyless entry transmitter lock and unlock the doors properly?

Go to Step 3

Go to Keyless Entry System Inoperative

1. Disconnect the Remote Control Door Lock Reciever (RCDLR) module connector.
2. Connect a fused jumper from the RCDLR connector cavity B1 to ground.

Do the interior lamps turn on?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Test CKT 1393 for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 1393 OK?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the RCDLR module. Refer to Diagnostic Starting Point in Keyless Entry.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Transmitter Programming

Replace the Body Control Module (BCM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Transmitter Programming

Repair the faulty wiring. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
