Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat map pocket panel.
  4. Remove the seat side air bag. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Side Impact Inflator Module Replacement
  5. Remove the seatback cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    7. Object Number: 578950 Size: MH
  7. Remove the clips securing the top and bottom of the lumbar assembly (14) from the frame (18).
  8. Remove the lumbar assembly (14).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 578950 Size: MH
  1. Install the lumbar assembly (14).
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the seatback cover to the seatback cushion. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  4. Install the seat side air bag. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Side Impact Inflator Module Replacement
  5. Install the seat map pocket panel.
  6. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  7. Install the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
