Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical conector (1) from the IAT sensor (2).

  2. Object Number: 210987  Size: SH
  3. Loosen the intake air duct clamp.
  4. Remove the intake air duct from the air cleaner and rotate the duct upwards.
  5. Remove the intake air duct from the throttle body by pulling upwards and inboard.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the intake air duct onto the throttle body.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Rotate the intake air duct down and install the intake air duct onto the air cleaner.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the air cleaner duct clamp to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical conector (1) to the IAT sensor (2).
